Congratulations to the Providers of the month for October, November, December and January:
Congratulations to Joe Grubenhoff, MD our October Provider of the month! Dr. Grubenhoff is recognized for his leadership to improve diagnostic safety at Children's. Over the past year plus, he has partnered with faculty and nurses to help better understand and address the risks of cognitive bias and diagnostic error. He is becoming a leader nationally in this work and recently presented at the Children's Hospital Association patient safety organization.
November:
Vijaya Vemulakonda, MD, or Vijay, is recognized as a consistent ray of sunshine each and every time she comes to the OR. She demonstrates professionalism in how she treats others and works collaboratively with other members of the care team. Congratulations, Vijay!
December:
Congratulations to Alicia Grenolds, CPNP-PC of Pulmonary Medicine. Alicia is a dedicated nurse practitioner with amazing follow-through for the patients and families for whom she cares. In addition, she is a tireless team player, having lent her efforts to cover our program due to an absence. This has been a selfless act and a tremendous help. Well done, Alicia!
January:
Laura Judd-Glossy, MD - Dr. Judd-Glossy's collaborative, professional, timely work ethic is being recognized, as well as her effort to go above and beyond to communicate with the multidisciplinary team regarding mutual patients. Her commitment in treating those who are not under her regular care is immeasurably valued by those who work with her and the patients she cares for here at Children's. Great job, Laura!!
