Thanks to the continued generosity of the Doug Jones Family Endowment in Medical Education, each recipient receives a $1,000 monetary award in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

The call for nominations opens in the first quarter of each year, with a six-week nomination window. Award recipients are announced each spring at the annual Education and Innovation Symposium.
Nominees must be members of the Academy of Medical Educators and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the form. Refer to the AME Member Directory to verify membership.
Both self-nominations and nominations of colleagues are welcome.
