My Coaching Philosophy:
I am passionate about helping faculty tap into their inner purpose, strength, and wisdom to find a path to meaningful work, engagement, and deep connection to their team and community.
My coaching philosophy is to help people access their strength and wisdom to identify their values and goals. Through a connection with values and goals, individuals can identify internal and external barriers to achieving these goals and find a path forward.
I am particularly interested in helping people identify their purpose in their role in the School of Medicine, navigate career transitions and challenging life experiences, and optimize work life integration.
Associate Chief Medical Officer, Children's Hospital Colorado | Associate Professor, Emergency Medicine, Department of Pediatrics
My Coaching Philosophy:
Like many clinicians who find themselves in leadership positions, I learned the hard way that leaders aren’t born but developed. Leadership is a skill like any other that requires practice, self-reflection, and humility in order to be as effective as possible.
I have a special focus on working with engaged, curious individuals and teams to support their leadership development. I’m committed to helping others become the most effective leaders they can be for the benefit of their patients, their team members, and so they may have a fulfilling and sustainable career.
Specific coaching topics may include (but are not limited to): communication skills, influence, leading change, conflict management, team dynamics, time management, giving feedback, work/life balance, developing a vision, and many more!

My Coaching Philosophy:
Each person’s unique journey creates powerful abilities, insights, and beliefs that we bring to our work, relationships, and leadership. These events can empower us and sometimes create barriers. Extraordinary results can be achieved by bringing your experiences to coaching and focusing on self-discovery, solutions and your action plan.
My passion is unleashing potential in motivated executive leaders, faculty, and teams. Specific areas of focus include enhancing performance, overcoming gender-based biases, dispelling limiting beliefs, communicating with meaning, finding your “why”, inspiring meaning in you and your teams, leading through change and complexity, aligning with opportunity, finding strength through authenticity and difference, envisioning the future, adopting leadership models, optimizing team dynamics, and interviewing for success.
I am a Certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching pursuing International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certification.
Assistant Professor, Division of Gastroenterology | Associate Director for Education and Professional Development, Office of Advanced Practice CU Anschutz School of Medicine
My Coaching Philosophy:
My work centers on supporting clinicians in building meaningful, sustainable careers to strengthen professional community and workforce development.
I have been deeply engaged in the well-being space for several years, serving as a departmental well-being representative, committee member, and facilitator of initiatives aimed at improving connection and culture. I am also a published author on clinician well-being and organizational culture, contributing to scholarship that explores burnout, emotional thriving, and professional identity in academic health systems.
My philosophy brings a steady, reflective presence to coaching and passion for helping colleagues clarify their values, navigate leadership challenges, and grow with intention within the complexity of academic medicine.
Instructor, CU Anschutz School of Medicine
My Coaching Philosophy:
My work focuses on supporting individuals who feel uncertain about their professional direction or who sense that something is holding them back. Through our work together, we explore what matters most, surface limiting beliefs or patterns, and create clarity about the path ahead.
I believe every person holds within them the wisdom, strength, and capacity to reach their full potential and to live as their most authentic self. My own experience with coaching has shown me how profoundly transformative it can be, and I am committed to offering that same safe, supportive, and growth-oriented space to others.
My coaching style is nurturing, grounded, and encouraging. I help clients cultivate the self-awareness and courage needed to confront internal and external barriers so they can move forward with confidence, purpose, and renewed possibility.
Coaching availability: Hours are flexible Monday - Saturday.
Professor, General Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics | Assistant Dean of Medical Education – Assessment, Evaluation and Outcomes, and Medical Director, Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program, CU Anschutz School of Medicine | Jones Family Endowed Chair in Medical Education
My Coaching Philosophy:
I am a deeply connected person who commits myself fully to the people that matter to me both at home and at work. I thrive when I can play a safe and supporting role in the stories of others.
My own story in academic medicine is one full of people pleasing, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. It has taken me time to learn that I am enough just for who I am and not solely based on what I accomplish. Coaching has been essential for me in my growth in this story, and I now strive to bring my whole self to coaching others through their story.
With a sense of wonder and appreciation of the beauty in imperfection, I will support you in your journey to embrace who you are and what you bring to this world, recognizing the unlimited possibilities for fulfillment and wholeness.
Professor, Radiology | Vice Chair of Mentorship and Professional Development | Director of Fetal MRI | Fetal-Cardiac Imaging Fellowship Director
My Coaching Philosophy:
I have found that meaningful development begins when we stay curious about our behaviors, motivations, and the ways we engage with others.
From that foundation, coaching becomes an opportunity to explore challenges with compassion, build practical leadership skills, and cultivate habits that support clarity, confidence, and well-being.
I enjoy working with individuals who are open to self-reflection and eager to strengthen their leadership presence in a way that feels authentic. My approach pairs thoughtful questions with actionable strategies, supporting people as they navigate difficult conversations, develop emotional intelligence, manage priorities, strengthen team relationships, and align their work with their values.
Coaching availability: Hours are flexible Monday - Friday. Bilingual coaching available in English and Spanish.

My Coaching Philosophy:
My coaching philosophy is grounded in curiosity, courage, compassion, and a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. I strive to create a trusted, confidential space where clients can reflect openly, think expansively, and engage in honest exploration without judgment.
I am particularly drawn to working with individuals navigating leadership, transition, or complexity. I understand the pressures of high-responsibility roles and the importance of aligning professional demands with personal values. I aspire to help clients reconnect with purpose, identify what truly matters to them, and translate insight into intentional, sustainable action and results.

I am passionate about helping people find joy in their work and connect with what brings them meaning and purpose.

Coaching is one of the most gratifying aspects of my work and I thoroughly enjoy sharing this experience with others.
Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs, Department of Pediatrics | Professor, Child Abuse and Neglect, Department of Pediatrics
My Coaching Philosophy:
I believe personal growth happens when we have the courage to be vulnerable and innovative. Sustaining mutually supportive, trusting relationships with others takes effort. Seeking guidance is a truly a strength and is never a weakness. This is one of the reasons why I became a coach - to support others and to inspire the realization that we all have the inherent potential for success and fulfillment.
My coaching approach is strengths based, client centered and holds to my personal values of authenticity, empathy, humility and service. I have been growing a coaching toolkit with exercises for clients to help identify core values, guide self-reflection, find meaning, and use inquiry in partnership with you to get unstuck and empower change. I value powerful and thought-provoking questions that challenge our personal assumptions and can inspire growth. We will stay curious and we will learn together on the shared coaching journey.
I offer coaching to individuals and groups to support conflict management, communication with meaning, personal empowerment, career path development and fulfilment, and I have developed a special focus on navigating career transition and legacy planning.
Professor of Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology | Executive Faculty Director – Colorado Springs DOP Faculty
My Coaching Philosophy:
My career has been far from linear and logical, but it has been fulfilling. There were many times that I struggled with what my ultimate goals were. A coach would have made an enormous difference in my career and life. Someone to support me with curiosity, absent bias and a true desire to help as I approached challenges and life decisions.
I find joy and professional fulfillment in helping faculty experience personal and professional success. I will collaborate with and empower you to develop your own vision and map to realize success and resilience. I will partner with you to address your life questions and challenges while respecting your values and working to support you in finding a balanced life to minimize burnout.
With care, curiosity, and shared commitment my lighthearted presence will support your journey and together we can create ripples of change. As everyone finds their best self, we improve our culture and create a healthy community. It all starts with you.
I may be the right coach for you if...
Together we can create your path to be the best version of you!

Professor of Urology and Associate Vice Chair for Pediatric to Adult Transition Surgery, CU Anschutz School of Medicine | Chair of Adult Congenital Surgery and Associate Program Director for Urology, Children's Hospital Colorado
My Coaching Philosophy:
Have you ever felt you've reached a dead end or roadblock in your career? Have you ever had someone tell you that you couldn’t do something or it wasn’t for you? I aim to support individuals and teams in overcoming career roadblocks or challenges by finding their best path forward.
Imagine what you can really do. Where is your full potential? Can you make roadblocks disappear, or will they guide you along a better route? Where you will find your own road to success?
Bold promise: I help career-minded people feel their own hope and inspiration, see opportunity, and find the right place for their future.
Everything is not what you see. I am very happy and fortunate with where I have landed in my career and my life, but what you read in the few lines above is influenced by my lived experience. I care that these challenges happen to others, and I want them to find their way forward.
Perhaps, in some small way, this is a way to thank those people who supported me when I needed it.
You may find our coaching sessions are interspersed with a sprinkling of lame wit (I apologize in advance) and, I hope, some laughter (maybe at me). You will be safe and you will be supported. If you need it, you will find your resilience and you may. . .dare to dream.
