*Spring 2027 sessions are held virtually on select Thursdays from 12 - 1 p.m. MT

QIWG applicants should have formal QI training, experience with leading a QI team, and a completed project ready to publish.

Participants in QIWG must have a completed QI project they are ready to publish. Completed projects may be defined as:

• A project that has reached its goal.
• A project with a change in an outcome or process measure.
• A project with an important lesson learned.
• A project with a unique, successful intervention.

QIWG covers didactic topics including SQUIRE guidelines, key section requirements, copy/line editing, and responding to reviewers

Participants are expected to attend all sessions, prepare manuscript drafts between sessions, and review a peer's manuscript.

Each QIWG live interactive session is completed on Zoom and includes 20 minutes of content followed by 40 minutes of manuscript review.

Additional work outside each class is required as participants prepare to submit their papers.

Tuition for QIWG is $999.*

*For employees of the CU School of Medicine, Children's Hospital Colorado, and University of Colorado Hospital, the course fee is covered by the institution.
