About the Course
The Quality Improvement Writing Group (QIWG) provides structured manuscript preparation for those looking to publish their quality improvement work.
10 TRAINING SESSIONS
The Quality Improvement Writing Group is a 20-week experience including 10 interactive, virtual training sessions that guide participants through development and submission of a quality improvement publication. Didactic topics include the SQUIRE Guidelines, key section requirements, copy/line editing, and responding to reviewers. Each session consists of a short didactic followed by mentored manuscript review.
ONGOING 1-ON-1 COACHING
Each participant is paired with a coach who provides continuous coaching and feedback during the 20 weeks of the program. QIWG coaches are experienced in quality improvement publication and provide guidance including draft review and substantive constructive feedback. Participants also receive peer feedback through small group breakouts in each session.
I wouldn't have imagined this publication would be possible if it wasn't for your guidance through the workgroup. Breaking it down into manageable portions really made this seem like less of a daunting task.
