PATHways Professional Excellence Consultations are designed to support ongoing professional growth, development, and engagement by providing private, individualized consultation and guidance for CU Anschutz School of Medicine faculty and trainees. Through reflective dialogue and practical guidance, participants strengthen communication skills, cultivate effective professional relationships, and enhance their ability to contribute positively to academic, clinical, research, and educational environments.
Consultation requests and requests for engagement may be initiated by individuals or by School of Medicine leaders, including department chairs, division chiefs, program directors, and supervisors. These consultations are developmental and educational in nature, offering a supportive opportunity for self-reflection, skill enhancement, and professional growth. Participants work collaboratively to identify strengths, explore opportunities for development, and build strategies that support effective collaboration, constructive engagement, and professional success.
Grounded in the PROMISE Framework, PATHways Professional Excellence Consultations help individuals develop the knowledge, skills, and self-awareness that foster professional excellence, strengthen workplace relationships, and contribute to a culture of professional excellence, accountability, trust, and humanism across the School of Medicine.
