The PATH Office is the Office for Faculty Relations within the CU Anschutz School of Medicine. We work alongside faculty, leaders, trainees, and staff to advance a culture of professional excellence, accountability, trust, and humanism across every mission of our academic community. Guided by the PROMISE Framework, we help translate shared values into everyday actions that strengthen individuals, teams, and the broader culture of the School.

Assistant Dean, PATH Office
Abigail (Abbey) Lara, MD is Assistant Dean for the PATH Office (Professional Excellence, Accountability, Trust & Humanism), an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine, and the Marsico Endowed Chair for Excellence. A physician leader in professional excellence, faculty development, and organizational culture, she leads the PATH Office's efforts to advance professional excellence through humanism, accountability, trust, and continuous professional development across the School of Medicine.

Associate Director, PATH Office
Bridget Morris Mis Associate Director for the PATH Office. With more than 20 years of experience in organizational development, coaching, and mediation, she leads the Pathways Consultations Program and fosters professional excellence through faculty coaching, reflective growth, and collaborative relationships that strengthen a culture of humanism, accountability, and trust. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Administrative Coordinator, PATH Office
David Barnhart, MBA, MHA, is the Administrative Coordinator for the PATH Office at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine. A healthcare administrator with expertise in organizational operations, project management, and professional excellence, he supports the PATH Office's efforts to advance professional excellence through humanism, accountability, trust, and continuous professional development across the School of Medicine.

Intake Coordinator, PATH Office
Sitha Ok, is the Intake Coordinator for the PATH Office at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine. With expertise in case management, faculty support, and organizational processes, he supports the PATH Office's efforts to advance professional excellence through humanism, accountability, trust, and continuous professional development across the School of Medicine. He facilitates the intake and coordination of faculty concerns, helping ensure fair, respectful, and consistent processes that foster a culture of professionalism and trust.
