Ready to submit a proposal?
The submission window is open January 15-29. Proposals are submitted through our secure online form.
Prepare. Define the need, strategic rationale, outcomes, budget, timeline, and risks. Discuss ideas and projects with members of the committee to ensure projects are aligned and consistent with funding priorities.
Request size. Requests under $5M with project periods of 1-2 years are prioritized. Requests above $5M need approval before submission from the Executive Advisory Committee.
Have ready. A project summary and strategic rationale; a full budget breakdown (personnel, equipment, supplies) and other funding sources; letters of support and conflict-of-interest disclosures, if applicable.
Outcomes are shared after committee review.

| Project title | Short descriptive name of the request. |
| Requesting department/division(s) | List all included departments/divisions and the PI(s) or project lead(s). |
| Priority theme / platform alignment | Neuroscience, Oncology, Transplantation, Musculoskeletal, Cardio, or a cross-cutting platform. |
| Project lead(s) | Name, title, EID, and accountable role. |
| Project summary | 2–3 paragraphs describing the request and objectives. |
| Strategic rationale | How the request advances the priority theme/platform and institutional strategy. |
| Expected outcomes / metrics | Up to five measurable outcomes with timing; include baseline and target where available. |
| Project timeline | Start date, major milestones, and completion or renewal point. |
| Budget request | Total request, total project budget, other funding, budget period, category detail, spend plan, justification, and sustainability. |
| Supporting documentation | Letters of support, prior funding history, related active awards, and COI disclosures as relevant. |
