AWARDS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Paul Dormond-Brooks recently completed the Manager Certification Program through CU's Human Resources group. This took several years of work, introspection and growth. Congratulations, Paul!
Dr. Robert Davies and 2 other CUSOM faculty members traveled to New Delhi for the India Professional Association for Transgender Health (IPATH) Conference titled "Addressing felt need for training and capacity building of care providers." He was invited to join World Professional Association for Transgender Health leaders including the organization's president, Dr. Marci Bowers, as faculty for the conference that took place at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR).
Thida Thant, along with other members of the UCH Multidisciplinary Post COVID program, COVID researchers and Colorado's ECHO program, have met with government officials over the last few months to review the comprehensive and cutting edge long COVID work happening in Colorado. The first visit was in July with Admiral Rachel Levine, MD, the U.S. assistant secretary for health at the Department of Health and Human Services and more recently with Colorado Lieutenant governor Dianne Primavera last month.
