There are several types of programs that may also be relevant for young people / families who are considering an evaluation with PEACS. FEP Programs
There are several programs in Colorado that work with young people who have experienced first episode psychosis (FEP).
Ascent has about 8-9 programs, which provide treatment for young people/families in many geographical regions in CO and are very flexible with insurances accepted. From their website: “Ascent Colorado is a holistic, community-based approach to mental wellness that provides treatment and support to youth and young adults 15-29 years of age (upon intake) who have experienced an onset of psychotic spectrum illness, which may be evidenced by troubling thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The program meets clients where they are, offering up to three years of full wraparound services to guide them toward stability and independence.”
