Program Overview

By participating in the program students learn about health disparities, health policy, and social justice issues that impact equity in healthcare. Courses are taught by distinguished University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus faculty, staff, and students. Topics consist of personal and professional development, lectures, demonstrations, and interactive presentations. The program is designed to allow students to explore the many facets of health care.

Program Overview

The MARC U-STAR scholarship program provides financial and academic support to students who are interested in research careers and plan to pursue a Ph.D. in the behavioral or biomedical sciences. The scholarship is funded through a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (T34 GM096958).

Program Overview

In an effort to ensure volunteering at Foundation events is a fun and fulfilling experience for you, we ask that you take these listed items into consideration prior to applying as an event volunteer:

• Volunteers should be able to stand for several hours
• Volunteers should be able to lift at least 20 pounds
• Volunteers should be able to participate in outdoor events during potentially adverse weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain, hail, or wind
