Prerequisites

Must have completed at least three years of college

Number of Openings

Program Objective

To determine how epigenetic regulators control gene expression in normal B lymphocyte development and leukemias.

Program Description

The student will assist with studies of novel epigenetic pathway that 1) normally turns genes off, 2) is disrupted in leukemia, and 3) controls cell identity, and 3) controls cell identity. In absence of this regulation, many genes are activated out of context with deleterious effects on the host.
