Upcoming Events

Cannabis Research Day at Anschutz Medical Campus – Coming Summer 2024

The Center will provide an intellectual platform with important resources to encourage both early-career and established investigators and their mentees to consider cannabis research and the cross-cutting impact and health effects of cannabis across the lifespan. The RM-CRC will host an annual campus-wide (AMC) Cannabis Research Day (CRD). The program will feature guest lectures by nationally known cannabis researchers including RM-CRC research faculty. One early-career and one established investigator will be competitively selected each year to receive travel award based on the scientific merit and significance of their pilot research each year. The CRD will also provide an opportunity to announce the release of new RM-CRC funding opportunities (RFAs) for pilot research awards and to attract a broad range of investigators who may not have previously considered or conducted cannabis research. The CRD will also be a platform to showcase RM-CRC DEI initiatives and to recruit and especially encourage investigators from under-represented groups to apply for RM-CRC pilot grant awards. More details on CRD opportunities and the timeline for CRD applications will be posted Spring 2024.
