Scott Cypers, PhD, director of stress andanxiety programs at the CU Anschutz Department of Psychiatry, discusses how adults can help youth attack anxiety in an article for Steamboat Pilot & Today. “Anxiety does not decrease until the exposure phase begins,” Cypers explained. “When we avoid, we don’t learn the skills we need to be successful with this in the future.”
Michelle Clementi, PhD, is featured as a guest on the National Headache Foundation podcast that talks about the impact pediatric chronic migraine has on parents and families.

AWARDS
Michelle Clementi, PhD and Jacob Holzman, PhD are recipients of The Research Scholar Award (RSA). This award is available to support early-stage Child Health faculty investigators who have demonstrated outstanding potential for an academic research career.
Dr. Michelle Clementi was also awarded the Children's Hospital Colorado Research Scholar Award for grant titled "Mindfulness-Based Intervention for Adolescents with Chronic Migraine" ($100,000 for 1 year, option for a 2nd year).
