Wellness & Mental Health

The Department of Orthopedic Residency is invested in our resident's well-being. We hold many wellness events throughout the year. Each Spring we hold the Annual Orthopedic Residency Wellness Retreat. This retreat is held at Arapahoe Basin where the residents bond, ski, and plan for the upcoming year.

We have a dedicated chief for planning wellness events for the residents. These include rafting in the summer, paintball in the fall, Denver Botanic Gardens in the winter, and our annual ski day in the spring.
