The Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society (RMSES) Conference 2025

Join us in the mountains for the 2025 Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society Meeting March 27-29 at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, Colorado. This course is intended for surgeons and allied healthcare professionals interested in treating common shoulder and elbow problems, emphasizing the surgical management of these conditions.

This conference will highlight new technology and techniques for treating shoulder and elbow pathology.

Registration Rates for the 2025 Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society Meeting:

  • MD/DO/APP/General Registration: $500
  • Fellows, Residents, Students, PT/ATC (CE’s not offered for PT/ATC): $200
  • Speakers: Free

Attendee Registration Includes:

  • Breakfast and snacks on Friday and Saturday
  • Entrance to the Reception on Friday evening
  • All conference materials including CME credit

Note:

  • Non-attendees, including spouses and family members, are not permitted to attend any portion of the conference except for the Reception on Friday 3/28 with the purchase of a $50 paid ticket.
  • Attendees may bring one adult guest to the Reception on Friday 3/28.
  • The conference, and any associated activities, are for registered attendees only.
  • Lodging, parking, and additional meals are not included in your registration fee and will not be provided as part of the conference.

Meeting Attire:

  • Mountain casual for all attendees and speakers.

Cancellations and Refunds:

  • The full fee is refundable if your registration is canceled by Thursday, March 20.
  • Refunds will not be granted after this time or for non-attendance.
  • CU Orthopedics reserves the right to cancel this conference in the event of an unforeseen circumstance or another surge in the COVID-19 pandemic. In the event of cancellation, CU Orthopedics is obligated to refund the registration fee only.

Continuing Education:

  • Target Audience:
    • This symposium is intended for physicians and APP's who are involved in patient care for shoulder and elbow injuries.
    • Anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of athletic injuries and conditions of the shoulder and elbow is welcome to attend.
    • The objective of this course is to educate participants on the best methods of managing patients with injuries of the upper extremity, specifically shoulder and elbow.

  • Learning Objectives:
    • At the conclusion of this conference, attendees will be able to:
      • Determine indications for surgical and non-surgical treatments for rotator cuff tears.
      • Develop an algorithm for treatment of shoulder instability in the athlete that involves both operative and non-operative management.
      • Assess patients with shoulder and elbow arthritis and develop an appropriate treatment strategy based on the severity of their disease.
      • Learn imaging and examination techniques to understand the issues that throwing athletes have at the shoulder and elbow and implement strategies to improve treatment of these athletes.
      • Assess traumatic conditions of the elbow and appropriately recommend treatment for these conditions.

    • This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. See the final CE activity announcement for specific details.
    • CME Credit is the only continuing education provided for this course. CE for AT’s, PTs, and another allied health professionals will not be provided.

The Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society Meeting will be held March 27th – 29th 2025 at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in Avon, Colorado. We anticipate over 100 surgeons and allied health care professionals next March. This conference will focus on the treatment of common shoulder and elbow problems with an emphasis on the surgical management of these conditions. This conference will highlight new technology and techniques for the treatment of shoulder and elbow pathology.
