A survey released in April by researchers at the University of Colorado’s Department of Family Medicine (DFM) and the University of Utah sought to measure COVID-related depression, anxiety, and stress.
High Plains Research Network Director and DFM Associate Professor Tamara Oser, MD, says the results were sobering.
“When I look at the numbers, and I see that in terms of people ranking their self-reported mental health as poor, which is the worst case that they could have selected I think that that really illustrates that the psychosocial effects of this are definitely more than a lot of us even anticipated they would be.”
The survey caught the attention of Colorado Public Radio which did a story. See it here.
