How to Apply
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet each of the following criteria:
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program, an AOA-approved residency program, a program with ACGME International (ACGME-1) Advanced Specialty accreditation, or a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) accredited or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) accredited residency program.
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in one of the co-sponsoring primary specialties.
- Trainees in our program must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or possess the appropriate documentation to allow them to legally train at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Generally, we do not accept applicants in the US on a visa status other than Canadian citizens.
Note: We encourage applications from women and minority candidates.
