Giving to Family Medicine
You can help make the make the mission and goals of the Department of Family Medicine a reality. Your generosity helps our department, our clinicians and our learners thrive and provides support for our innovations in clinical care.
The A.F. Williams Family Foundation has been a trusted and reliable source of support for the Department of Family Medicine for decades.
It has funded, among other things, several endowed chairs and the A.F. Williams name graces our flagship family medicine clinic in Denver's Central Park neighborhood.
Now, thanks to the Foundation's continued generosity, we have the opportunity to set a precedent by creating a $10 million endowment for the department. A fund that, when realized, will provide unrestricted support for the Department of Family Medicine in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus at the direction of the chair of the Department - ensuring the Department of Family Medicine will have the resources to pursue transformative research, clinical care, and education well into the future.

Department of Family Medicine Education Fund: To support the Department of Family Medicine educational activities at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Rural Program Scholarship Fund: To provide scholarship support for students in the Rural Program in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Rural Program General Operations Fund: To provide support to the general operations of the Rural Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Eugene S. Farley, Jr. Health Policy Center Fund: To provide support to the general operations of the Farley Health Policy Center to develop and translate evidence into policy to advance comprehensive, integrated strategies that improve individual, family, and population health.
Robert Rigg Jr. Student Emergency Fund: To assist medical students and/or Family Medicine Residents to defray the costs of medical education at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

There are two ways you can make your contribution.
Payroll Deduction -
If you are a CU employee, you can easily make your generous contribution as a deduction from your monthly paycheck, either before or after tax.
1. Simply click on this link.
2. Use the "I would like to," drop down menu and choose "Establish a new monthly payroll deduction gift."
3. Fill out the online form.
4. Under Gift Details, search for or write in your designated fund. The full fund names are:
- Williams Family Foundation Department of Family Medicine Endowed Fund
- Department of Family Medicine Education Fund
- Rural Program Scholarship Fund
- Rural Program General Operations Fund
- Eugene S. Farley, Jr. Health Policy Center Fund
- Robert Rigg Jr. Student Emergency Fund
5. Enter the amount that you would like to have deducted on a monthly basis.
6. Add any comments you like.
7. Check the box to authorize the payroll deduction... And, you are done!
