Johnson Depression Center Outpatient Psychotherapy

The Johnson Depression Center (JDC) is a specialty outpatient clinic focused on mood, anxiety and associated disorders. Interns participating in this rotation will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative outpatient specialty mental health team that includes Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Interns will conduct initial evaluations, develop treatment formulations and conduct individual outpatient psychotherapy utilizing a range of evidence-based approaches. The JDC operates in a “hybrid” format offering both in-person and telehealth visits and Interns will likely receive experience in both formats.
