Completed a Teaching Scholars Program Fellowship at the University of Colorado in 2014. Completed the Advanced Leadership Training Program in 2017.

Personal Interests: When not at work, enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Active in the community as a member of SheEO, an organization that supports women entrepreneurs in their ventures. Volunteers at her children’s schools, and takes an active role in their education. She also is passionate about traveling, health, fitness, and overall well-being.

She came to AFW in late 2006 from the University of Florida where she completed her residency, served as chief resident, and stayed on as faculty. She has won multiple program and departmental teaching awards. She was recently selected President of the Family Practice Inquiry Network.

Serves as the medical director for Aurora Public Schools Athletics and is a team physician for Rangeview High School, the University of Denver, Colorado Avalanche, and Denver Nuggets. Works throughout the year at the Winter Park Ski Clinic (DH East Grand Community Clinic).

Awards, Recognitions & Appointments: Board certified in Family Medicine with Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Sports Medicine. Completed residency and primary care sports medicine fellowship training at the University of Colorado and part of the faculty since 2014. During residency, he received the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine Resident Scholarship Award and the Family Medicine Resident Scholarship Award and served as a chief resident. As faculty, he received the Rising Clinician of the Year Award in 2016.

Personal Interests: When not at work, enjoys spending time with his wife (Jen), son (Luke), and dog (Paige). Personal interests mainly revolve around sports. Enjoys playing golf, volleyball, hiking, and skiing and watching college/pro sports – Go Irish!
