Medical Areas of Interest: I practice comprehensive family medicine including outpatient and inpatient care with obstetrics. My clinical interests include maternal and child health, women's health, LGBTQIA+ health including care of transgender patients, addiction medicine including MAT. I also perform a variety of clinic procedures. I strive to treat my patient as whole - taking into account their identity, values, and their family and community context. I see myself as an ally and champion and hope to help my patients achieve their own goals for their health. I love helping patients with chronic diseases live their lives fully and celebrate patient values while doing so. In addition to English, I speak Spanish and enjoy taking care of Spanish speaking families.
I enjoy the intersection of graduate medical education and clinical practice, my goal as a leader in our system is to make AF Williams a site for excellent and innovative primary care where residents feel at home as an integral part of the care team and where patients feel that their care is enriched by the residency.
