PEACHnet
Partners Engaged in Achieving Change in Health, or PEACHnet, is a geographically based community and practice-based research network that works with stakeholders throughout western Colorado. It began in 2017 and has been growing since, with multiple practice, public health, community-based organization, and patient partners.
The idea for PEACHnet began with a realization that there was little involvement from practices in western Colorado in the existing PBRNs. In addition, western Colorado has its own culture and identity, contributing to support for a region-specific PBRN.
We received funding from the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute in 2018 to conduct engagement activities across the region and began forging relationships and partnerships across the region. Interest was keen in developing a network that could address issues that truly impact the health of people in western Colorado.
