For more than 30 years, University of Colorado Anschutz Anesthesiology has fostered the development of world-class anesthesia providers committed not only to clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and research, but also to a keen pursuit of lifelong learning. Our nationally-acclaimed training programs are fueled by passionate and dedicated faculty.
The primary goals of the program are to:
- provide the best educational experiences in anesthesiology and related disciplines,
- expose trainees to a variety of clinical areas and services,
- and provide the tools that will train individuals to become leaders in health care and improve patients’ quality of life.

The educational programs of the Department of Anesthesiology provide members of the anesthesiology team with opportunities to improve their knowledge, clinical skills, resilience and professional behavior.
