Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship (August 2024)

The University of Colorado Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship has two open positions for August 2024. This is a twelve-month, ACGME-accredited fellowship program. Our primary training site is Children’s Hospital Colorado, which is a regional leader in pediatric care and has a network of care spanning seven states. Our fellowship offers:

Exposure to a wide range of clinical cases in all surgical subspecialties, including congenital cardiac surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, major orthopedic surgery, organ transplantation, fetal interventions, as well as routine pediatric surgical cases and non-operative procedures. Fellows will also complete rotations in pediatric acute and chronic pain management, regional anesthesia, and pediatric and neonatal critical care.
A robust educational curriculum, including board preparation, hands-on workshops, and professional development seminars.

Critical Care Medicine Fellowship (July 2024)

The University of Colorado Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship has an available ACGME-accredited position for the 2024-2025 academic cycle. Our medium sized program supports a personalized curriculum for fellows to focus on their individual goals following completion of training. This includes a wide variety of elective experiences, academic and research time, mentorship and career development.

Clinically, our fellows care for a wide range of complex patients with balanced time in our Surgical Trauma ICU, Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU and Medical ICU. We are a large tertiary referral and trauma center with high volume and high acuity patient populations including advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and multiple organ transplant programs.
