Working with skilled and compassionate physicians in Guatemala, we helped build capacity by providing tools and specialized training, while adapting to the unique challenges in this resource-limited setting. The impact was immediate and powerful. As global health advocate and program fellow, to watch local providers advance their specialty within their country and provide exceptional care to underserved and marginalized communities is truly fulfilling.
