Research Interests

Clinical trials, endothelial function, pulsatile cardiopulmonary bypass, aging, platelet hyper reactivity, and hemostasis.

Research Description

Our research focuses on improving perioperative outcomes using a combination of clinical trials, prospective observational cohorts, and laboratory based techniques. We also have big data infrastructure to leverage data collected during routine clinical care to generate hypotheses that we can test with targeted clinical trials.

This work is funded by the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists.
