Dual Obstetric Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship

For candidates passionate about improving high quality care for complex obstetrics patients in the peripartum and critical care settings, the University of Colorado is pleased to introduce a new two-year fellowship opportunity.

The fellowship consists of two, 1-year ACGME accredited fellowships in Obstetric Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Following completion of this program, graduates will be board-eligible in Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, Critical Care Ultrasound through the National Board of Echocardiographers, and Basic Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification.

The two-year program will allow interested fellows adequate time to pursue academic and research interest, establish mentorship with leaders in Obstetric Anesthesiology and Critical Care, and participate at the forefront of improving access and care in this high-risk population.

Applicants to this track are encouraged to apply through SF Match and indicate their interest in pursuing advanced fellowship training in both subspecialities.

As applicants to a two-year program, we will follow the Match Exception process as outlined on the Society of Critical Care Medicine website.
