Bringing science, data, and better health to all communities.
Boot Camp Translation (BCT) leverages the expertise of community members to translate dense scientific evidence and guidelines into locally relevant and conversational messages, campaigns, and materials that calls local community members to action to promote health.
It evolved from an effort to include the High Plains Research Network’s Community Advisory Council in a project to increase screening rates for colon cancer into a standardized, proven process that has now been replicated across many projects in Colorado and beyond.
Most BCT development efforts last between six and nine months and produce high quality materials that are distributed in local community venues.
