Benefits for Fellows
Subject to enrollment and verification of eligibility, the following benefits are available to fellows through the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine Graduate Medical Education office. Below are the benefits taken from the CUGME website for the current plan year (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026). Changes to plan provisions may be effective for the new plan year.

Stipends
Residents and Fellows are paid by the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine. Please visit the CUGME website for up-to-date stipend levels.

| 1 | $80,024.83 PGY 1 residents receive a $3000 advance on the stipend. The remaining stipend is then disbursed in 12 monthly payments. |

*Additional compensation is available as follows:
- Annual technology stipend ($150 per year)
- PGY 1 recruitment stipend ($1000, once)
- PGY 1 orientation pay for those with a June 23 contract start date ($150, once)
- Eligible Residents and fellows also have the opportunity to earn up to $1000 annually by achieving required metrics through the GME Quality & Safety Partnership Program.
