Stipends
Residents and Fellows are paid by the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine.
Annual base stipends for the 2026-2027 year are listed in the table below.
Residents and fellows are paid monthly on the last day of the month.

*Additional compensation is available as follows:
- Annual technology stipend ($150 per year)
- PGY 1 recruitment stipend ($1000, once)
- PGY 1 orientation pay for those with a June 23 contract start date ($150, once)
- Eligible Residents and fellows also have the opportunity to earn up to $1000 annually by achieving required metrics through the GME Quality & Safety Partnership Program.
