Research Interests
Dr. Davidson received her Ph.D in from Tri-Institutional Program for Computational Biology and Medicine in New York, while conducting research at ETH Zürich. During her Ph.D., she conducted single cancer and pan-cancer analyses using RNA-Seq and Ribosome Profiling data. She was a part of the International Cancer Genome Consortium, where she integrated multiple transcriptional aberrations to identify cancer-relevant genes and alteration patterns. During her post-doctoral training, she became interested in building methods to integrate multi-scale and diverse data sources, which is especially beneficial for rare diseases, like ovarian cancer. During this time, she also drove a study analyzing the molecular subtypes of high-grade serous ovarian cancer across racial groups and gene expression platforms.
