CU OB-GYN Residency Class of 2024
CU OB-GYN Residency Class of 2023
CU OB-GYN Residency Classes of 2022 and 2024
OB-GYN is an amazing specialty that combines all the things I love about medicine which are primary care, preventative care, surgery, and advocacy! I have special interests in serving underserved patient populations, DEI, family planning, and trauma informed care.
There is such much to enjoy and explore in Denver! I am most excited for sunshine, concerts, hiking, snowboarding, and trying new restaurants.
I enjoy fitness classes (pilates/cycling), traveling, live concerts, gardening, and embroidery. I also love spending time with family and friends!
I love the variety that OB-GYN has to offer—from preventative care and routine prenatal visits to complex gynecologic surgeries and fast-paced medical decision-making. Right now I am most interested in and passionate about rural OB-GYN healthcare as well as global women's health, medical education, and complex family planning.
There are so many things that I love about Denver! The large catchment area and opportunity to care for patients coming from surrounding states, having a close-knit group of friends nearby, and of course the ease of access to the mountains.
Hiking, skiing, climbing, and generally being outdoors, knitting, finding new restaurants and breweries, and spending time with my cat and dog.
Having the privilege to provide comfort to women during their most intimate moments brings me so much joy! I am eager to serve underserved communities, and to help reduce healthcare disparities. I'm drawn to OB-GYN for its dynamic blend of clinic, OR, procedures, & of course, deliveries! I am highly motivated to learn and grow at CU to contribute to this amazing field.
I grew up in the south, so I am eager to experience all four seasons! Looking forward to the mountain views, local sports scene, and convenient access to an international airport. Plus, who can resist 300 sunny days a year? Can't wait to soak it all in!
Big fitness girlie: conquered 2 half marathons and 1 full marathon (barely). I'm all about SoulCycle, OrangeTheory, PureBarre, & SolidCore (thank you, ClassPass). Travel addict with my trusty Kindle always in tow! Huge sports fan (GEAUX TIGERS), ready to cheer on the Broncos and Nuggets!

I love the breadth of OB-GYN practice and have a special interest in sexual medicine and menopause. Additionally, I am passionate about providing safe, thoughtful, gender-affirming care for all patients.
Coming from Chicago, I am looking forward to the incredible access to the outdoors that Denver provides. I am also excited to move closer to family, especially my new nephew!
Outside of medicine I love to be outside, make a great meal for friends and family, or work on a knitting project while binging a new show.
I love OB-GYN because of the diversity of the practice! We get to have longitudinal relationships with our patients in clinic, work with our hands doing surgeries and procedures, experience the adrenaline rush of emergencies, and support our patients through some of the most beautiful and challenging days of their lives. I am especially excited to dive into MIGS, PAGS, and medical education during residency.
Easy access to all my favorite outdoor activities (hiking, rafting, climbing, snowboarding and more!) and being close to family and friends.
In my spare time I like to adventure outdoors, practice yoga, throw pottery, cook for friends and family, and snuggle my little pup Cumiche.
I love OB-GYN because of the opportunities for advocacy, innovation, and intersecting surgery with primary care and community health. I am passionate about reproductive justice, equitable healthcare access, medical education, and research. It will be such a privilege to care for patients spanning from adolescence to post-menopause!
I am so grateful to be able to stay in Denver for the kind people, 300 days of sunshine, proximity to nature, and opportunity to care for a diverse population of patients.
Traveling and road-tripping, attending concerts, hiking, thrifting, exploring used bookstores, tennis, songwriting, plants, and cuddling with my senior cat, Artemis.
I love all that OB-GYN has to offer! It is an honor to be in a field focused on taking care of individuals in some of their most vulnerable, memorable, and impactful times. I am particularly interested in public health outreach, advocacy, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. I am very excited to continue learning how to best reach underserved communities and those with limited English proficiency.
I am so thankful to have the opportunity to come back to Colorado! I'm excited to explore all the outdoor joys Denver has to offer, and to find a new go-to local restaurant and coffee shop.
I enjoy hiking, walking with my dog (Stella), running, hot yoga, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I'm always down for anything involving the sunshine and the outdoors!

OB-GYN is an amazing medical field filled with physicians who strongly advocate and care for their patient population. I find myself drawn to that passion and team dynamic. I am particularly interested in patient advocacy, high-risk obstetrics, and LGBTQ+ care.
Denver is a large and diverse city that offers access to a lot of green spaces. I'm excited to familiarize myself with the cityscape and the people in the greater Denver metro area. I'm also thrilled to pop on some skis and hit the mountains in my free time.
I enjoy reading, being outdoors, playing cards, and listening to live music.
I love OB-GYN for so many reasons: the blend of surgery, labor & delivery, and longitudinal primary care with a strong advocacy component integrated into every aspect. And finally, the patient population! I'm particularly interested in gynecologic surgery, family planning, medical education, and the integration of new technology and innovation in medicine.
Having a city and nature all in one in one of the sunniest cities in the country! I can't wait to spend time outside the hospital immersed in nature every season of the year.
Outdoor time (hiking, biking, lying in the sun), hot yoga, live music, reading, cooking plant-based meals, and spending time with family & friends!
I truly love all aspects of this speciality! The relationships we build with our OB-GYN patients is beyond what any other specialty has to offer (in my humble opinion).
At this point, I have a particular interest in Gynecologic Oncology and Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology, but am remaining open-minded to the full-breadth of OB-GYN throughout residency. Whether I choose to practice as a generalist or pursue fellowship training, I know without a doubt that I want to build a career in academia where I can incorporate my love of clinical medicine, basic science research, and medical education into my career as a physician scientist.
Denver holds a very special place in my heart. My husband and I both grew up west of the city, and completed our undergraduate degrees on the Auraria campus downtown. We are incredibly excited to be back with all of our wonderfully supportive friends and family for this next phase of training!
Whether it is hiking, biking, or skiing (my favorite!), there is nothing that makes me feel happier than a day out exploring in nature. My husband and I have added two new adventure buddies into our family over the past few years: a large goofy dog named Yeti, and a beautifully fearless toddler named Vivi. We can't wait to show them what growing up in Colorado is all about!

I love the wide breadth of OB-GYN, from clinic to the OR to L&D! My interests include health disparities and medical education. I'm excited to join a field where I can advocate for reproductive health.
There is always something to do year-round! I'm excited to try new restaurants/breweries and explore the mountains. The constant sunshine is also a plus!
I enjoy hiking, gardening, pilates and trying out new recipes! I'm always seeking out fun events in the local community. I also love spending time with my friends and family.
I plan to be a generalist with a strong GYN focus that includes the pediatric/adolescent population. I am passionate about empowering my patients and staying politically active in an effort to protect their rights.
Abundance of activities! Able to maximize the limited time we have off by exploring nature, watching my favorite sports teams, or participating in whichever farmer's market or cultural festival that is happening on a given weekend.
Cooking. Staying active with hot yoga, anything outdoors, and a newly developed interest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Then also when time permits, I enjoy gaming with my partner (both table top and video games).
I love this field due to the opportunity we get to serve patients as they transition through all the chapters of their reproductive health, and we get to do it in so many settings from clinic to L&D to the OR! I am particularly interested in the care of underserved and limited English proficiency patients and medical education. I look forward to exploring all aspects of OB-GYN in residency!

I enjoy being active, especially through skiing, hiking, biking, and attending various workout classes. I am a big sports fan and love watching and playing sports. I also enjoy cooking and baking, especially chocolate chip banana bread.

I love that there's so much to do, especially outdoors! I'm excited to explore the city's food scene and the surrounding mountains in my free time.
I enjoy embroidery, yoga, hiking, farmers markets, spending time with loved ones and spotting neighborhood cats on evening walks!
The thing I love most about OB-GYN is how integral advocacy is to the profession. I am passionate about and excited to continue to engage with advocacy for women's health, LGBTQ+ care, and family planning. My other interests in OB-GYN include caring for underserved populations, global health, and HIV/STI treatment and prevention.
Skiing, hiking, camping, climbing, surfing, learning new things, going to live music events, dancing, karaoke, cooking for my friends, traveling, playing board games.
300 sunny days a year! It's also the perfect city to explore new restaurants, music venues, and cool neighborhoods, while also being in close proximity to gorgeous nature and some of the best skiing in the country.

Medical education and DEI.
I love the unlimited number of things that I can do outdoors.
Enneagram, hiking, and trying new bakeries/restaurants.
I'm so excited about the field of OB-GYN because it presents the unique opportunity to practice surgical care, preventative care, and advocacy, as well as care for the LGBTQ community and other underserved patient populations. I get to educate patients and health professional students alike about the intricacies OB-GYN and reproductive health. I am particularly interested in investigating and addressing health inequities that exist in reproductive healthcare through research.
The proximity to beautiful hiking and skiing, and the food scene - there are so many good restaurants/food trucks/breweries of all kinds here!
Skiing (A-basin is the best!), cooking and baking, painting, hiking, getting out to as many National Parks as I can!
Fun fact - I have wanted to be an ob-gyn since I was 15 years old! I love the depth and breadth of general OB-GYN with a particular interest in eliminating racial disaparities in maternal health, comprehensive sexual education, and medical education. I am also excited to learn more about the numerous subspecialities this field has to offer at CU.
I grew up in NC so we have always had both the beach and mountains. I love seeing the Rockies while driving around everyday and the 300 days of sunshine a year. Originally from a small town, so I am very excited to live in a "big city" with endless restaurants and things to do!
I love iced coffee at all times of the year, playing with my Chihuahua, binging reality TV, and hiking. My partner and I can typically be found trying out good eats, catching a baseball game or fishing together. Also, we have a dog and cat that fill our camera rolls with endless pics!

I love all that a career in OB-GYN has to offer - the ability to create long-lasting relationships with women of all ages, advocate for women's health, spend time in the OR, clinic, and L&D, and so much more! I really enjoy providing care for the underserved patient populations in the community. I would say I am most interested in becoming a generalist right now, but I am looking forward to exploring the different niches of OB-GYN throughout my time as a resident.
What's NOT to like?! I love being able to do something outside and active year round - hiking and camping in the summer, skiing and snowboarding in the winter. The city of Denver itself also has so many delicious restaurants and fun neighborhoods and parks to explore. Not to mention the sunny weather and mountain views everywhere you look!
I spend most of my free time surrounded by friends and family trying new restaurants or breweries, doing something outside, or playing (winning) charades. My passion is all things outdoors - hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, skiing, you name it. I am also an avid lover of musicals, particularly Hamilton!
I LOVE this field! I think the nature of the physician-patient relationship in women’s health is uniquely personal and intimate and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my patients in their most vulnerable moments. I am most interested in caring for underserved populations, gyn oncology and palliative care.
Living in a large city with so much to do and explore AND being close to the mountains is a dream!
I enjoy any opportunity to listen to live music, spend time outdoors, or explore a new brewery - even better if these 3 things are happening in one place! I also love spending time with loved ones, traveling, hiking, running, and baking.
I'm interested in birth justice and promoting safe, happy, and healthy births for my patients! I'm also interested in gyn-oncology, which is a really special field at the intersection of medicine, surgery, palliative care, and preventative care.
The huge number of parks in the city, the eclectic vibe, and that dry, fresh mountain air.
Outdoor-lite™ activities, biking, running, playing my little piano, knitting, cooking.

Being an ob-gyn means that I get to advocate for women’s health every day! I have a strong interest in family planning and reproductive justice, and I am eager to explore other interests during residency.
I am excited to be close to fun outdoor activities, especially skiing. Plus, the sun is always shining in Denver!
I love to dance! My favorite styles are jazz and contemporary, and I still perform every chance I get. I am also a huge sports fan, and love cheering for KU basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs.
I fell in love with the field as it really is the bridge between primary care for women and surgical expertise. I am excited to explore the various subspecialties at CU as well as opportunities to provide quality care to women and their families living on the Western Slope.
Where to start?! Music at Red Rocks, drivable to some amazing ski resorts, and truly interesting and fellow outdoorsy people!
You can find me recharging my batteries by cycling around the parks, catching a musical or play, walking my dogs Maude & Millie, or snowboarding.
I love everything about OB-GYN from clinic to L&D to gyn-onc, and feel grateful to be present for some of the biggest moments in our patients' lives. Connecting with our amazing patient population through these moments is such an honor. Some specific interests include family planning, LGBTQ+ care, MIGS, and care for the underserved. I am motivated to keep learning about the gaps in our healthcare system through research, and hope to contribute to solutions.
I'm so excited for all that sunshine and access to beautiful, mountainous nature! I also can't wait to try out some of Denver's amazing breweries, and to pet all of the doggos that live in town.
Enjoying the sunshine, dancing, surfing, hiking, camping, yoga, trying new recipes, hosting guests, and spending time with friends and family.

Enjoying the sunshine, dancing, surfing, hiking, camping, yoga, trying new recipes, hosting guests, and spending time with friends and family.
Women's health! What's not to love?! One of my favorite things about OB-GYN is all of the variety within the specialty. My particular interests are health equity and advocacy, working with underserved populations, high-risk pregnancy (MFM), pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and global medicine. Ultimately, I am excited to explore my interests throughout residency!
There is something for everyone here -- from outdoor activities to city life and everything in between. You want it? Denver probably has it!
Cooking, hanging with my family and friends, watching basketball, exercising, reading, and attempting DIY projects & interior design.
What’s not to love about the field of obstetrics and gynecology? From clinic, to the OR, to labor and delivery, it’s such an exciting field that offers so much variety. I do have special interest in healthcare disparities, trans health, MIGS, and family planning. I have a passion for providing equitable health for all and understanding the gaps in our systems through research to be able to do this.
Mountains! I’ve always lived by mountains, so I’m super excited to be moving to a state that’s literally known for having 58 14’ers!
Traveling (when there isn’t a global pandemic), trying new foods from around the world, weight lifting, hiking, and hanging out with my partner and our dog Jynx and cat Penny.
I am so grateful to be able to care for the incredible patient population within OB-GYN, and the breadth and depth of this specialty consistently surprises and excites me. In particular, I am interested in chronic disease in pregnancy as well as fetal development, genetics, and family planning.
I am so excited to explore Denver! From the sunshine and city running trails to the breweries, mountains, and sports teams, Denver has it all. I can't imagine a better place to live!
My husband and I love being outside whenever we can - running, cycling, hiking, skiing, etc. I have also developed a love of crafting, baking, and craft beer.

Substance use in pregnancy, peripartum mental illness, health disparities in maternal morbidity and mortality, tumor immunology in gynecologic oncology.

Running, playing soccer, hiking and backpacking, COFFEE, cats.
I'm interested in the surgical aspects of OB-GYN, especially minimally invasive gynecological surgery and urogynecology. I’m also passionate about reproductive rights, palliative care, and advocating for underserved populations!
Denver is home to beautiful scenery and has direct access to some of the best hiking, biking, skiing, and mountain climbing. Also, the brewery scene is fantastic, especially after a long day spent outside.
As a Coloradan, I love to play soccer, hike, bike, and ski. Naturally, I enjoy nature documentaries and consider myself a novice ornithologist. I like to play video games, listen to music, go to concerts, spend time with friends, and spoil my Bernese Mountain Dog, Boris!
Is "All of the Above" an option? I love the variety OB-GYN offers, so it’s hard to pick a favorite. As of right now, I see myself as a budding generalist, but I’m keeping an open mind.
I’m beyond excited for the sunshine and nature. My dog and I are going to enjoy exploring all the beauty Denver and the surrounding area has to offer.
Music, movies, trying new recipes, cycling, playing with my rescue doggo (Lily), and spending time with loved ones.

I am passionate about OB-GYN because of the many opportunities in this field for patient advocacy through legislation and public health initiatives. While I am excited to learn more about each aspect of this specialty throughout residency, I am particularly interested in gynecologic oncology, where I can combine my interests in research and advocacy, and foster lasting relationships with patients.
Beautiful mountains, friendly people, plenty of sunshine… What’s not to love?
Anything that takes me outside! I enjoy climbing, skiing, and backpacking, and fortunately have an adventurous partner and pup that love the mountains as much as I do! Additional interests include spending too much time in bookstores, questing for the best cold brew coffee, and exploring around Denver with friends and family.
I love everything about OB-GYN! There is so much variety within this specialty, but particular interests of mine include medical education, reproductive health, and fertility preservation.
Being close to my family and friends, the sunshine, and close proximity to the outdoors!
Cuddles with my 100-lb Bernese-Pyrenees dog - Rex, hiking, skiing, and traveling with my family.
I'm interested in all areas of OB-GYN. I was drawn to the breadth of the field. I'm really passionate about disparities in women's healthcare, gynecology oncology, and medical education!
