Research Interests
Dr. Jansson has national and international recognition for his translational research exploring the cellular and molecular mechanisms of regulation of placental nutrient transporters and investigating the role of placental function in determining fetal growth and long-term health. Dr. Jansson has a distinguished publication record, serves regularly on NIH and international study sections and is the Principal Investigator on numerous NIH grants.
