Access and Engagement Scholarship Statement
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is excited to offer scholarships to visiting fourth year medical students applying to OB-GYN. The scholarship is intended to help cover travel, housing, and/or personal expenses during the student’s 4-week long rotation. The purpose of this externship is to support and guide medical students who have an interest in the OB-GYN Residency Program and the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CU SOM), and who are dedicated to supporting the mission of the CU SOM of improving health outcomes of our expansive patient population.
Scholarship recipients will complete a 4-week rotation in an approved OB or GYN acting internship elective focusing on serving patients from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences with the following benefits:

Please note: Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and applicants will be notified of final decisions when the selection process is complete. The scholarship will be given at the end of your rotation once you have met all requirements for your rotation, have passed and are in good standing.
