CU Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program

Program Overview

The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Colorado is a three-year ACGME accredited program accepting one to two fellows per year. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado started its fellowship in 2009. The primary goals of our program are 1) to educate obstetrician-gynecologists in the comprehensive management of women with cancer of the reproductive organs, and 2) to foster the development and maturation of future academic physician-scientists and leaders within the field of gynecologic oncology.

Our program is primarily based at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) in Aurora, Colorado. We are a 620 bed hospital, including 120 ICU beds, that is a tertiary care center servicing Colorado and it’s surrounding states. We also service Denver Health Medical Center (DHMC) located in downtown Denver. This is a tertiary center with 525 inpatient beds, 47 ICU beds, that serves as the city’s public health hospital.

We consider some of our program strengths to include:

A New State-of-the-Art Medical Campus

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a world-class medical destination at the forefront of transformative science, medicine, education and healthcare.
