Dr. Richard Martinez, Forensic Psychiatry professor at CU Anschutz, is featured in an ABC News article. Dr. Martinez evaluated Jeremy Webster, a Colorado man who was found guilty of first-degree murder on Wednesday and sentenced to life in prison. Dr. Martinez diagnosed Webster with Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Type, but did not evaluate whether he was sane at the time of the shootings.
