Dr. Christian Thurstone is featured as an addiction specialist in a NBC news article on the risk of cannabis-induced psychiatric disorders. "We're definitely seeing a rise in cannabis-induced psychosis among teenagers," said child psychiatrist Dr. Thurstone.
AWARDS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Dr. Michael Allen served as a technical expert for the national 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The expert panel reached consensus on guidance regarding the appropriate use of 988 versus 911. The language in the consensus guideline will be used in the national marketing of 988.
