Dr. Jennifer Hagman is featured in a 9 News article titled Eating disorder survivors say new law is needed to establish standards of care. “Kids with very severe eating disorders, we saw a real increase, a sustained increase in kids presenting for care in a pretty medically unstable condition during the worst of the pandemic years. And that really has not tapered off which is alarming to me.”
Dr. Scott Thompson is interviewed for a MedPage Today article on the importance of healthcare professionals to educate adolescents and young adults about the potential hazards of using psilocybin in unsupervised settings.

Emily Hemendinger, MPH, LCSW did a spot/interview for KCBS Radio in San Franciscoon problematic supplement use and being under-regulated, while also discussing the relationship with eating disorders.
Hemendinger also co-authored an article for the Skeptical Inquirer titled Fitspiration, Pseudo-Healthcare Professions, and the First Amendment.
Hemendinger also co-authored an article for The Conversation on nonprescribed weight loss and weight control products, as well as dietary supplements and powders and their impact on mental and physical health.
Dr. Brian Pitts, author of a meta analysis on Brief Interventions for Suicidal Youths in Medical Settings was highlighted by Dean Reilly. “Brian H. Pitts, MD, assistant professor of pediatrics, is corresponding author of a review article published February 15 in Pediatrics that reviews and consolidates the available literature on suicide risk screening and brief intervention with youths in outpatient medical settings."
Dr. Michelle Clementi, co-author of a systematic review and meta-analysis of 50 years of experimental research on sleep loss and emotion as noted by this APA press release.
