Program Overview

The University of Colorado’s Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS​) is designed to prepare fellows for a career in FPMRS. Fellows will refine their clinical and surgical skills​ and have the diverse opportunity to advance their research interests. This is a three-year ACGME accredited program accepting one fellow per year.

Strong Clinical Training

Fellows will be exposed to a wide variety of clinical situations while refining their surgical skills​.

Research Experience

Formal and ongoing research mentorship is provided by clinical faculty and research faculty from our Division of Reproductive Sciences.

Train at a High-Volume Medical Center

Fellows will benefit from training at a high-volume, high-acuity referral center.

Department Support

Our department provides supportive faculty, section chiefs, and a Department Chair who take an active approach to graduate medical education.

Multi-Disciplinary Network

Fellow rotations offered in urogynecology, urology, geriatrics, urodynamics, colorectal, GI, radiology, and physical therapy.
