Elizabeth Clain, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Clain completed her undergraduate education at Harvard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in neurobiology. She then spent time working as a healthcare consultant and did research at the University of California at San Francisco. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and graduated with distinction in clinical research. Her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training was completed at the University of Colorado, where she served as the chief resident for quality improvement. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the mountains and reading.

Simone Elder, MD

Dr. Simone Elder is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellow at the University of Colorado. For her undergraduate studies, she went to Rice University where she graduated and completed an Honors Thesis in Biochemistry. She is a Gates Millennium Scholarship recipient and went abroad studying woman's health in India, China, South Africa, and France after college. While at Weill Cornell Medical College, she received multiple awards including, The Gustav Seeligmann Prize for Efficiency in Obstetrics for the highest achievement in Obstetrics and Gynecology, several National Medical Foundation (NMF) Fellowships for her research, and The Franklin C. McLean National Medical Fellowships Scholar which is a national award from the Association of American Medical Colleges to a senior medical student in recognition of outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community service. She completed her residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell. During residency, she completed research in race and IVF outcomes as well as research focusing on chronic endometritis and Asherman's syndrome. She is excited to call Colorado home and enjoys reading, skiing, exploring museums, and traveling.

Dana Siegel, MD

Dr. Dana Siegel completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish at Tufts University. She then attended medical school at Wayne State University where she was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated with High Distinction. She was also awarded by her dean the Distinction in Biomedical Research for achieving excellence in research and scholarship. Dr. Siegel completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado where she solidified her desire to pursue a career in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and received The Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Resident Award for Excellence in REI. Dr. Siegel has published and presented her research at multiple national conferences about disparities in fertility awareness, donor-conceived people, and effects of hormonal contraception on ovarian reserve markers.

In her free-time, Dr. Siegel enjoys playing tennis, spending time in the mountains, traveling, and improving her gluten-free baking skills.

Laura X. Zalles, MD

Dr. Laura X. Zalles is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible in Medical Genetics and Genomics. She earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was selected for a longitudinal 4 year International/Inner City/Rural Preceptorship program. She then completed residency at Cooper University Health Care followed by a Medical Genetics and Genomics fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Dr. Zalles has contributed to multiple publications and presentations exploring topics such as Fragile X Syndrome, ART outcomes, preimplantation genetic testing, and racial/ethnic disparities in fertility care. She is passionate about access to care and academic mentorship. A northern Virginia native, Dr. Zalles enjoys spending her free time salsa dancing and encouraging her bulldog to exercise.
