DOM faculty members hold positions of leadership within the DOM, SOM and campus, as well as in the larger medical and scientific communities. Leadership: General Resources
The Faculty Advancement Office offers the DOM Intentional Leadership Program designed to meet the needs of senior leaders in the Department of Medicine - participation is by invitation of the Department Chair.
Other leadership resources:
- CCTSI Leadership for Innovative Team Science (LiTEs) - 12-month program targeted to mid-career and senior faculty and academic administrators who aspire to improve their management and leadership skills.
- CU Excellence in Leadership Program (ELP) - helps current leaders become more effective at managing key challenges of a dynamic CU system.
- CU Clinical Leadership Development (CLD) Program – two-day program offering tailored training for front-line physician, nurse, pharmacy, and administrative leaders who seek to advance their personal leadership ability.

Career Advancement & Learning resources
Leadership: Women and Minorities
- Women's Leadership Training Program - two-day session followed by three 2-3 hour workshops over the course of a year. Women's way of leading, MBTI, finance of academic medical centers, money matters, and conflict and negotiation - application is required. - Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) - resources provided for one woman faculty member per year to attend Drexel University’s Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM). Application deadlines and processes vary; contact Judith Regensteiner for information.
