Housestaff

The University of Colorado welcomes 68 incoming interns per year into our five tracks - Categorical, Hospitalist, Physician-Scientist, Preliminary, and Primary Care. At any time, there are 180 interns and residents in our program, living together, working together, and learning to be excellent physicians and scholars together.

Residents at the University of Colorado hail from 36 states and 7 countries outside the US. They will arrive representing 83 different medical schools, 6 of which are top international programs. We are proud of the different communities they are from and the perspectives they bring. All of these factors add important layers of diversity to our campus.

This group truly represents the best and brightest among the Internal Medicine residents across the country.
