For the 2021-2022 academic year, the CU Anschutz DOM Quality & Patient Safety (QPS) team led efforts in safety, quality, value, and education. Through our monthly morbidity and mortality (M&M) case reviews, we analyzed clinical events and implemented system-oriented solutions with health-system partners. The DOM QPS team also supported and mentored process and quality improvement (P/QI) efforts, offering increased visibility, data support, analytics development, and dashboards to track outcomes and progress on quality metrics.
