The Department of Medicine is the oldest and the largest department within the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. From our humble beginnings in 1883, we are recognized among the top tier of departments of medicine in the country. With more than 1,000 dedicated faculty and 300 residents and fellows across 14 divisions – we are transforming the future of health care. Collectively we are:
