How the funds are being used:
Funds from this award will support a qualitative assessment of the components of low-barrier care that are most important to both patients and providers. The project will examine barriers, facilitators, and preferences related to long-acting antiretroviral therapy delivery for people with HIV who face adherence challenges and barriers to care. Findings from this work will help inform the development of an implementation plan for a combined low-barrier and long-acting antiretroviral therapy intervention aimed at improving care delivery and patient outcomes.
