We require a Chairman's letter from the Department of Medicine OR the Department of Pediatrics. A Dean's letter or MSPE, and 3-4 LOR's (letters of recommendation).
At least one LOR must be from an Internal Medicine faculty; At least one LOR must be from a Pediatric faculty; and one (IF APPLICABLE, but certainly not required) LOR should be from a Med-Peds faculty member.

We expect international medical graduates to have an exceptional academic record and have (at least four months) hands-on clinical experience at an accredited U.S. or Canadian healthcare center. We will not count observerships, research or shadowing as clinical experience.
International Medical Graduates are required to be ECFMG (Educational
Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certified at the time of your
application or far enough along in the application process that you will
receive certification no later than February 1st of the year in which
you plan to match.
Applicant must have graduated from medical school within the last five years.
