The Department of Medicine Staff Mentorship Program was developed by the Department of Medicine's wellness initiative to help staff find experienced mentors who can guide them on their professional journeys and is tailored to the unique needs of administrative staff within the department.
Mentorship programs at work can increase employee retention, boost workplace satisfaction, increase workplace diversity, increase competency leading to increased job satisfaction, and foster professional growth. Our mentorship program will utilize a facilitated peer mentorship model – an approach that is grounded in collaborative work among a cohort of mentee peers under the guidance of a senior mentor.
