Health Services Research Development Grant
In 2015, the Department of Medicine created the two-year Health Services Research Development Grant program to provide research support for fellows or instructor-level junior faculty members in the Department of Medicine who are pursuing a career in health services research. This funding will augment the training support of the next generation of outcomes researchers, and by providing additional research support, will enhance recipients’ career trajectory and accelerate the timing towards obtaining a career development award. In addition, the HSR grant program will begin to build a critical mass of rigorously trained health services researchers in diverse clinical disciplines, and develop new inter-divisional collaborations by bringing together investigators with complementary expertise.
