The University of Colorado welcomes 68 incoming interns per year into our five tracks - Categorical, Primary Care, Hospitalist, Physician-Scientist, and Preliminary. At any time, there are 180 interns and residents in our program, living together, working together, and learning to be excellent physicians and scholars together.
Residents at the University of Colorado hail from 34 states, 6 countries outside the US, and represent 77 different medical schools. 21% of our class comes from groups that are underrepresented in medicine and 60% of the class identify as women. All of these factors add important layers of diversity to our campus.
This group truly represents the best and brightest among the Internal Medicine residents across the country.
