Dr. Bucca has been director of the BDC Eye Clinic since 2007 and has over 2 decades of experience in diagnosing and managing diabetes eye complications in both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. His practice philosophy is hinged upon patient education in an effort to promote a genuine understanding of disease risks as they relate to a patient’s individual case. Providing knowledge of disease process, elevating comprehension of one’s risks, combined with compassionate and supportive care is the foundation of successful prevention and treatment of any illness. Dr. Bucca is the sole provider in the BDC Eye Clinic which assures not only consistency of care but assists with the forging of a doctor-patient relationship, promoting trust and confidence in the care you receive at the BDC Eye Clinic.
